Marathon Engineering and Environmental Services, Inc., a progressive Southern New Jersey firm, is seeking technical individuals for our Land Development and Environmental Groups. The individuals will work in a team environment and work closely with Project Managers on various project types. The core services of Marathon's Land Development Group include development feasibility analyses, land and site planning for residential, retail/commercial, corporate, industrial and institutional development, road and infrastructure design, grading and utility design, stormwater collection and management design, soil erosion and sediment control design, land use permitting, expert testimony, construction monitoring, and cost estimating. Our staff is assisted by the latest in technological equipment.

The core services of Marathon's Environmental Group are environmental investigations for Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, environmental impact statements, remedial investigations and action plans, wetland delineations and mitigation plans, threatened and endangered species evaluations, geographic information systems, and federal, state and local regulatory permitting.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

Civil Engineers

• BSCE required, 4 to 12 years experience preferred. PE desired.
• Experience in site design, familiarity with Land Development Desktop/AutoCAD software.
  
• Candidate will perform site design for residential, commercial, and industrial land development projects. Must communicate well with clients, regulatory agencies, and other team professionals.

Site Designers

• Civil engineering degree, landscape architecture degree, or degree in related field preferred but not required.
• Non-degreed individual with minimum five (5) years experience will be considered for this position.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Land Development Desktop, Intelisolve Hydraflow, Microsoft Office applications, etc.
• Candidate should be knowledgeable in land planning, site engineering, grading, stormwater management, drainage, hydrology and hydraulic analysis, erosion and sediment control, and landscaping design.
